Hi guys, where does everyone disappear to when it's raining at the naturist village?
Had a shite start to our holiday with a 7 hour delay with ryanair from edinburgh. We got here yesterday around 7pm and the weather was lovely. This morning its lashing down and the place is deserted. |

You could try the 2 x 2 Zen Attitude sauna in Port Ambonne which opens at 1400 hours although it is still early in the year. If not then you could try organising a party. |

As has been said, if it's not beach weather, 2 et 2 is the place to go. It's not just a sauna, they have one of the biggest beds we've ever seen. And lots of playrooms.
It hasn't rained for near on 6 weeks, so the vineyards need it, even we don't......!!

Never thought we would come to a naturist place and never have our berghaus jackets off our backs
Most of the bars are empty and don't wanna risk a club if they are dead as well. |

"What's the best airport to go to for the cap?"
We are flying to Montpelier as Ryanair fly from Gatwick but if you can get to Luton you can fly to Bezier which is closer, by the time get to Luton is as quick (and easier) to fly to Montpelier.

Whenever you come just hope the weather is good. This is the worst weather we have ever experienced on holiday.
Never had my jacket off let alone me kegs.
Johnny wokkers is a good bar but melrose has been shut since we arrived.

Typical as we are home on sunday.
Having said that its probably a good thing. Vastly overatted and expensive as fuck. Probably came at the wrong time of year but won't chance it again. |

Bad weather affects very holiday resort in the same way.
Don't think you can judge anywhere on one visit, especially if the weather is not so good.
May can be glorious but changeable, just like early March was so good we were on the beach getting pink...
Try it again next year and you'll get a different picture entirely.. |

"That's why we went for la mirage in GC, better weather
Not good to hear but worth bearing in mind for next time x"
By comparison Gran Canaria is vastly over-rated comprising a couple of clubs and bars and a section of beach. Cap D'Agde as a complete resort during the season of June to September is in a different league. But as others have stated the weather is always a factor but in season there is plenty to do, loads of fun to be had and loads of sunshine. |

We went to 2 et 2 today and had a great time with a German and French couple.
Still not 100% certain of cap when the weather is dodgy. Its sunny now at last.
Its still very expensive although we knew that before we came. |

That's the good thing about GC you can visit outside the months of June to September and have a good time with great weather. |

The sauna we went to was 35 euros to get in but good value if you can spend all dsy there.
A Pint in johnny wokkers is 5.5 euros. Got a bottle of corona in one of the standard bars for 8 euro last night.
Food we haven't tried as we stocked up from the local hyper U supermarket but even that is more expensive than back home. By the look on the menus we have browsed it fairly costly in the restaurants.
Sun loungers on the beach we couldn't tell you cos the weathers been crap and nobody there. Weathers lovely this morning so maybe that will bring everyone out.
Had a great night last night with some belter foreign couples, so apart from the weather we reckon its a smashing place to visit and hook up with other couples.
Everyone we spoke to reckons we have been unlucky with the weather and we are at least a week too early. They say july and august are totally full on so you should have a great time.

Ok the quarter is expensive in every respect, but, a 3 course meal off the quarter is 13.90€ = £10 ish. 1/2 ltr of wine 4-6€ =£3-£5. Diesel 1.26€ = £1.03 ltr. Hyperu isn't the cheapest shop, geant, lidl, Carrefour all good value. Accommodation well it's available for as little as £45/night. It's just knowing where to go. Treat this visit as a reccy & learn from it. Wine is the cheapest alcoholic drink followed by beer. Coke is an arm & a leg! |

" Thank you guys for the feed back, looks like we will have to start saving all our pennies up. Shame about the weather it looks like that is the price you pay when you go to these places a little bit out of season. That was what happen to us when we went to Spice this February. The weather was not that great, but the people we met made up for it but it is still annoying we have to admit, specialty when you have been looking forward to going somewhere to catching some rays and the weather lets you down. Not that it is any consolation but the weather at home is rubbish as well. |

E5.5 is @ £4 same as you would pay for a pint in many Newcastle pubs, but you can get a pitcher of wine in a bar in Cap for E8, which is less than a bottle of wine in a pub at home.
Food from the supermarkets inside the resort is about the same price as in the Hyper U.
There are good restaurants in the resort which will do a 3 course for @E20. And the Austrian one next to Jonnys is very reasonable and great food.
No sun loungers on the swingers beach so never paid for them.
E20 (@£16) to get into Jules nightclub and that includes two drinks. Not bad at all.
So really it ain't that expensive. We normally recon on E100 per day spend that includes all food, drink and entry into one club, tho not if Glamour is involved !!

Its expensive, don't be fooled by the above. You are a captive audience and they can charge what they want.
It's minimum £5 a pint and thats in the ordinary bars and shorts are way more.
It's true that the wine is cheaper than the and you can buy half litre carafes in most places but it ain't good stuff.
Don't take our post the wrong way as we have had a hoot and the only downer was the weather which lashed down again last night.
We would deffo come back and fingers crossed anticipate better weather. |
