Just a note to any one flying into the island on the afternoon or early evening Sat 24 May it's pride carnival starting about 15.00 and going on till late so if your hotel is anywhere along the route you may not get to it as soon as you'd like.
If I find out more I will update here

Few have asked I have just checked the route is as follows
Starts on Av Gran Canaria just down from the Mirador Golf view point. Proceeds down to Riu Palace hotel then up Av tirajna to the main roundabout on Av Alf Provisionals were it turns right heading towards the Red Cow. Turning right here following the road alongside the Yumbo till finishing by the mini golf.
