We normally rent a house when at cap but may brave the campsite next year. Any honest reviews would be appreciated
Facilities?
Amount of families ? ( screaming children)
Etc
Cheers x |

You don't need to 'brave' the campsite, it's very civilised here..!!
We've been staying there all week in our caravan and have stayed here many, many times in the last 15 years or so. First visited here in the 80's.
It's a huge site, around 2,500 pitches and very well run. The size pitches vary, you don't say what type of camping you will be doing, but all are suitable for a tent, some are bit small for caravans/motorhomes. The office will guide you as to the most suitable for your needs.
I think there is a map on their site which would help you decide if you want to be nearer the beach or the shops/bars/clubs. Small shop on site, also a wine cave in the high season. Toilets/showers are fine, but like anywhere in July/August they will be pushed to the limits. We guess you don't want to know about kiddie facilities..!
Pizza and seafood takeaway, together with a small market in the busy months.
If you come in school holidays, there will be families of course but generally there will be a mix of nationalities/family groups and ages.
High season is VERY busy, June and September are the best months.
Anything else you want to know, fire away.... |

"Thanks guys a comprehensive answer we will be going in our small campervan 2500 pitches seems massive l"
Yes, 2500 pitches = a lot of people, but strangely enough it doesn't actually feel too crowded unless it's July and August.
Try it and see, you can always go back to a villa/apartment next year... |

Try this one
http://www.naturisme-terredesoleil.com/gb.html
been going there for awhile
No kids, pool and a lovely wooded area for action
with a swingers club attached
Lextasia...free to campers caravaners
one flaw
the owners are downright unfriendly except for one dutch lady who works there
Anyone know of another

Unfriendly French owners or employees, never mind, always like that
We are thinking about going there July as we have seen the webpage and it looks nice. They say it is for adult couples only
Do you know whether we can bring friends there during the day? We have a black M friend, and a couple.
Thanks you |

"Hi
Couples can visit, last time we went for the day (last summer) we paid a fee that included lunch, so not a bad deal. Single guys are not admitted either camping or as a day visitor.
"
Thanks Beccy, we need to find a female volonteer to come with our 11inch black friend. Difficult, haha!! |

Never stayed in peak, but in Sept, it was very nice. Unfortunately, some ppl live like pig's - someone had been to the loo, obviously needed it badly, and didn't make it - feces all over the cubicle, floor and part of the the wall. This was at 2am needed a quick pee on way back home. So if your self contained your ok. Tip stay close to the entrance as not so far to walk in heels |

Regarding other similar sites, there was one we found on the internet a while back, but can't remember the name now. Sorry, that's not much help is it?
It might have been near Montpellier, but can't be sure. There's a couple more expats down this way, they might be along soon to help out....
