No they've not stopped doing priorty boarding but now allocate your seats on checking in so no real point in paying extra unless you want extra legroom seats, but you do need to check in asap to ensure seats together |

Why cant things just be left alone
We flew with Thomson in march and they have changed their booking system too
Its all about making more money.....its obvious
Just like making things more awkward and it pisses me off

They have changed slightly since last month.
You can now only book in 7 days before unless you pay extra for the seats.
Means you can`t now get the return unless you pay for the seat or print the tickets whilst you`re on holiday.
We have been twice since the last change after xmas and this is a new one...
We did get seats together before without paying...

"you can still check in online 15 days in advance of flying, we did it yesterday"
Did you check in for your return flight too and was able to print off your return boarding pass without booking seats because my other half wasn't allowed to on sunday and had to pay 15e to book seat on return journey |

I'm not moaning about them, but was trying to offer advice to OP, got to say we only use them and seldom even check out other airlines but this latest change in not been able to check in for return flight until 7 days before departure does spoil a normally easy event. Price wise 74e from Fuerteventura to UK return, a 4000mile trip, you couldn't do it in shoe leather |

we had pre-booked seats so that may be the difference. Unfortunately Ryanair is the only airline aprt from Thomas Cook flying to GC direct from Edinburgh so the choice is very limited. Ryanair only change things if they think they can get more income generated by doing so.Our flights cost £104 return so it isn't all bad |

Ryanair now let you check in up to 30 days & 2 hours before the flight, i use them weekly.
Plus pay for your priority boarding at the gate area, they are more than willing to sell you it, just ask some1, its cheaper £4 per person fact, saves standing in the long qs |
