Planning a trip again in the spring, but would appreciate some help/advice on accommodation. Previously we've stayed near the lighthouse at Maspalomas but this time we thought of staying at PDI.

Can anyone recommend somewhere that's quite nice, reasonably quiet, close to the Cita area and has a shuttle to the lighthouse for beach trips ?

Alternatively somewhere that's not too far a walk to the beach/dunes?

We know it's quite a list of demands but we love the beach/dunes and the clubs so we want the best of both worlds

Thanks

If you search the forum there have been posts recommending hotels over the past few days, remember reading a few of them.....

Manchester

The Buenos Aires is a very nice hotel - on our top three list of hotels in the area.

Nice, quite new, clean, and has plenty of hot water in the shower

Walking distance to both LaSandia and Cita, but I'd recommend the women to use flats for the walk.

We would highly receomend IFA Catarina as we stay there regukar

Gorgeous hotel with nude roof terrace overlooking the dunes

5 minute walk to cita centre for the nightlife and 5 minute walk in opposite direction straight down into the dunes

As you say best of both worlds

Took us a while to find the perfect hotel but for us this is the one

Thanks folks - will look at the Caterina and Santa Clara. Like the idea of the nude roof terrace if it's too windy on the beach or we don't fancy the walk

Crazy but at the moment we can find packages with loveholidays for a lot less than putting our own holiday together
