Hi all i'll be in dubai for the first time from the 27th feb for three nights. can anyone recommend any hotels in decent ares to stay? possibly around the marina but open to ideas as i don't know a lot about the city. im looking to maybe pay around £50 per night. also if anyone else is there the same time and fancy hooking up (just socially is fine) let me know.

The marina is very expensive! I used to live and work there!

For 50 a night you may end up nearer to the far end near the power station or in old Dubai known as bur Dubai!

Try Jebal Ali end on the out skirts Easyjet have a hotel there

Thanks for the info I'll look at both areas. I have heard the marina is nice from someone else so I may have to up my budget
