We are booked from the 16th to GC for our first visit, although this forum is great, friendly and helpful - lets be honest, info is disorganized.
So - a question for the seasoned Maspalomas visitor.
Which clubs are a "must visit"
Is there a Popular night for a particular club? ie - EVERYONE goes to X on Tuesdays?
Any thing that you think may be of help to "newbies" on a first visit to GC?
We have car/satnav and happy to travel!
Any help would be appreciated so we can fit as much as possible into our first visit there.

Simple
All clubs are in playa del ingles
There are a few so try them all
They are free to enter all you need to do is buy a drink
So if you go to one and don't like ... Walk to the next one !!

Hi guys,
I would leave the car at your bungalow when you go to PDI in the evening, taxi cost will be only 5 euro max and the police will stop rental cars late at night.
There are 2 good meeting bars, Comeback and Bude. From each you can walk to a club after. I can guarantee if you ask at either bar the owners or some of the customers, they will walk to the club with you if you are a bit nervous.
As the post above stated, you are welcome to go into any of the clubs in PDI with out any membership, just like it is a normal bar, but with benifits.  .

If you need to know about the Island and driving, there is a complete road circling the Island, a good drive to see the diverse landscape.
The road to Las Palmas is fine and also down to Mogan but after that it a little bendy . Have a look at driving across the middle towards the pine forests, you will find fab picnic sites and lakes to park alongside. You can have fun in those isolated places.
I would recommend a day in Las Palmas if you can.Lots of History, Modern shopping malls and a great beach... |

There are plenty of guides on the net and a few apps.
Most of my experience is in the Yumbo Centre...tacky shops by day..carbert bars and restaurants by night. Nothing is going on much before 10 bar wise...and 12am club wise.
most of the Yumbo caters for gay men...plenty of back rooms and a couple of good sex clubs...Bunker / Cruise and Cellar.
take your own condoms...as i never see any freely available and lots of raw sex.
Straight world happens in Kasbah...similar set up but definitely straight...plenty of young fit women and men. Good dance clubs.
however there are more hookers, dealers and pressure sales people in kasbah.
if you do want or sniff...you can ask shady looking Moroccans and they will know someone who can help.
you will be guided to a mates bar to wait while your order is collected and you exchange money subtly.
there are mixed saunas and sex clubs...but not as well publicised.
sex happens on the dunes between Faro lighthouse and Palace Riu.
you will find a few Fab members online...
try other apps such as Blendr for local meets.
Am out in Feb and Oct.

Jumbo - I understand that is more Gay orientated and Cita is more for swingers.
With regards to drugs /hookers - we like a drink, but nothing more. Well, maybe the occasional sniff of poppers - but that s it! Hookers - well, we may dabble for a fem to join us every now and then!
Its the mixed saunas and sex clubs we are interested in!
Any names of the mixed saunas?
I have a list of around 5 swingers clubs found on various sites - but mixed Saunas are new? Any help - much appreciated!  |

The Yumbo is not really a swinging area unless your into the TV/TS or gay side the Cita Centre is where the Comeback bar is and also most of the Swing Clubs we have found the bars friendly and the clubs clean and respectful |

Yumbo centre is a more gay orientated area, however there are a couple of bars with drag shows which are usually good for a laugh, plenty of restaurants in Yumbo centre.
As for police stopping vehicles at night you have as much chance being stopped in PDI as you do in the middle of London but if you have been drinking alcohol then you deserve to be stopped. |
