There is a nudist beach near La Caletta not too bad a hike to it but it is lovely there I frequent there and find it lovely

We found Mystique somewhat overpriced (maybe spoiled by Gran Canaria) n but everyone to their own.

Tenerife does have several good nude beaches and the nearest to Playa las Americas/ Los Christianos is reputedly the beach just East of the latter but friends descriptions have not induced us to try it. More to our taste is the beach at Puntilla - half way along a spectacular coastal path from either La Caleta to the South (North of Las Americas - regular buses to the village - head N.West through the "football pitch"). No facilities, so carry all you need and the tide does pretty well cover the sandy area. Have fun showing off your bits to gaping tourists in the cruise boats.....

Better still are the beaches around Rojo Montana (Red Rock), the main popular one to the West of the mountain but if solitude is your thing the coast East of el Medano just towards the Eastern flank of the rock. There is also a small beach to the West of el Medano towards Arenas del Mar.

Forget the beach on the North Coast at Puerta del cruz - the steps down are washed away and the descent for other than a skilled mountaneer is a no no.

There is reputedly a beach used by nudies on the Eastern tip of Tenerife but others can giive the details - it seems a bit of a trek with the weather far from guaranteed......
