We're off to Jibacoa. About halfway between Havana and varadero. First visit to Cuba and really looking forward to it.

Cuba is fantastic! Came back about 3 weeks ago - best holiday I've had

Stayed in Varadero but independently travelled to Havana and Vinales.

That's when we go, but think you're the other end of the island. We're up near havana.

Havana is a great city. History and the Maracon.

The tourist hotel areas are just that.

You have to get to the Town and city's to see the real Cuba.

Santa Clara is also a great place for recent history. Viva Che

Gaurdalavaca and varedero best for night life and entertainment. Cayo cocos for pure relaxation and Cubans amongst the nicest people you will ever meet

We stayed with a Cuban family in Vinales and got a true sense of the real Cuba - met their family and friends, shared meals with them and joined in what they did in the spare time - don't get me wrong, the 5* hotel we stayed in in varadero was absolutely stunning but living with the family, albeit only for a few days was amazing

we're home. Rained the first couple of days and started again as we left due to cold fronts from the USA. was stillwarm and looking at the tv we missed the worst of the rain, but the sea was rough for a few days.

we had a lovely time. lots of R&R, rum and more rum the bubba cups saved lots of trips to the beach bar & we'd recommend everyone to take a couple.

really enjoyed wandering Havana soaking up the atmosphere.
