Bit of a long shot but anyone in Berlin mid October or can suggest any good bars, clubs, restaurants etc? Xxx.

Sexy swinging or nice couples bars would be an added bonus lol x

London

I've been living in Berlin for about 7 months now and am happy to give you advice. I'm not sure what type of things you are interested in seeing, eating, doing and dancing to, but this might help:

If you want some German food, then Max und Moritz in Kreuzberg is really good. Or for more Bavarian cuisine, Augustina Braeuhaus in Stadtmitte or Hofbrauehaus in Alexanderplatz are both worth a try. Trying to finish the schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) is an experience.

Currywursts and doner kebabs are (surprisingly) Berlin delicacies and should be tried before you leave. Currywurst 36 at Mehringdamm is a good spot. Also at Mehringdamm is the famous Mustafa's Kebab, which despite being a shack on the side of the road, is delicious. It does have a really long queue though (30 mins plus easily). Hasir (take-away place, not the sit down restaurant next to it) in Kottbusser Tor is arguably one of the best in the city for a doner.

Lots of clubs and bars, although they all pretty much focus on variations of electro music. If you're into it, you'll be spoiled for choice (I'm not ). The four most famous are probably Berghain, Watergate, Kater Holzig or Tresor. Berghain and Kater Holzig are notoriously difficult to get in to, but if there's just two of you, it should be ok.

Berlin is also home to the famous Kit Kat club. I've never been, but I've heard it lives up to its formidably kinky reputation.

Not sure if you guys know it already, but the whole nightlife scene in Berlin starts a lot later than back in the UK. 12-1 is the busiest time to get into clubs and you can keep partying until the afternoon if you want to.

Hope that helps. If you want more advice, feel free to ask.

Have fun!

Costa Blanca Spain...

For sexy swinging try Tempel Oase just outside the city at Teltow.

Really nice club and we had a great night in there.

Thanks both for your advice, sounds like we will have a lot of choice

We are staying in the Radisson Blu near alexanderplatz which I think is in Mitte area. Any advice of decent bars for a laugh and a dance would be good, not really club people, prefer bars with music and agood fun boogie lol

The food sounds amazing so I am sure a curry wurst will be on the menu!

As for swinging, that would be a bonus so any couple friendly bars would be ideal, if they exist.

I also like a good lapdance if the hubby lets me, which he does of course.

Thanks again xx
