June and July time is going to be busy in the evenings. Bellamar hotel is lovely. Stayed there twice now but not cheap. And the hotel gran sol is very nice too. X

San Antonio is like a stag do on speed, no better than any tacky Spanish resort !!! I'd stay well away from it, Ibiza old town is nice & playa den bossa is good too, clubs can be very expensive to get in but It kinda depends on what you like & what kinda holiday you want.

San An can vary to what your after - weve seen families there with grandparents and the lil ones to groups of young d*unken clubbers.

Many ibiza (spanish) residents live there also, it's not just tourist.

What we would say, it to do a lot of reading up, as it not all about super clubs and cheap booze in the west end.

Ibiza is a very cultural island.

You can go for a massive club vest or go just for solitude.. There is something for everyone.

The brits tend to stick to San An, but a lot of the dutch tend to go to playa den bossa on the other side of the island.

I live on Ibiza for much of the year... Port es Torrent could suit... Just far enough from San An... close to Beverleys.... Most hotels now are good if you steer away from el Cheapos. Sirenis group, of Fiesta group.

Enjoy!

Kettering

I've been going to Ibiza for more years than I care to remember and always stayed in Playa Den Bossa. What was a typical spanish holiday resort is rapidly going up market with venues such as the old Don Toni Hotel being completely gutted and re opened as the first Hard Rock Hotel next year.

If you rent a car you can get to anywhere on the island quite quickly. Likewise the bus network is also very good.

I love the huge diversity of Ibiza. The wonderful beaches (and Playa Den Bossa is the best), the vibrant music scene, the historic old town high above Ibiza port, Ibiza Town marina with multi million pound yachts owned by the rich and famous, Ibiza Town itself that comes alive at night with pavement restaurants , designer shops and other features that are just waiting to be discovered !!, the chilled out beaches of Salinas and San Antino, the German owned swinger club Beverly at Port De Torrent (close to San Antino) that gets multi national visitors (well worth a visit on Friday or Saturday)and much, much more.

You can also read the weekly English Ibiza newspaper online at http://www.theibizasun.com/ which can be quite interesting.

From April to September, the whole island is totally dedicated to the tourists while for the other six months most tourist based venues are closed.

As you can probably tell, I love the place and I hope you will too.
