The Catarina lobby telly shows the weather for the next few days as cloudy/ wet in the mornings and sunny from approximately mid day.
This is a fantastic hotel, your advice was spot on.

Roll on Monday 16th - GC here we come. First visit here. Looking forward to seeing if it's as good as people are suggesting.
Hope to make some new friends in the CITA centre bars and clubs at night and maybe even on the beach during the day. |

Hi we will be at Maspalomas from 21st to 28th September, anyone want to meet up for some sexy fun, will be staying with some straight couples, but will be looking to get away and play for a couple off evenings whilst we are there.

Just back from Gran Canaria to pouring rain!!!! Totally agree with the last post. Avoid there at all cost......if you go keep an eye on shots!!! Say no more ........and thanks to all the lovely people we met. Great holiday. COMEBACK BAR AND VENUS were good. Some nights bit quiet in Venus but give it a go. Lovely owners x |

forget comeback bar, rip off prices, tried to charge 2.90 for small beer with half beer and half head, ok if you are german and forget secrets we went in last week, 3 other couples and 21 single males we left after 1 drink |

So Comeback Bar is now a rip off, unless you are German, last week 2x2 was a rip off because water was expensive, Secrets is full of single guys so that's out, another thread says Venus is quiet so that's out and Fun4all has higher prices than both 2x2 and Comeback so that must be a rip off too.
That's the swinging scene fucked in GC then!

Unless mony is no problem you have hit the nail on the head bar owners think putting the word swingers on the door equates to larg mark up. Lot more english are meeting up in local bars and then moving on from there we try to meet in kims if all goes well then back to ours |

Just out of curiosity, what would be reasonable prices for swingersclubs? Please take into consideration clubs have higher costs for renting bigger places for the rooms, pay more electricity for jacuzzi and loads of daily laundry, condems etc. |

Been saying for last few years PDI needs a daytime "discreet" meeting point for those of us who don't want to spend every day on the beach but would like to spend the day socialising with like minded folk over a few beers/coffees. 
Why can't us Fabster's just "adopt" one daytime bar/hangout so we know where to find each other (pref with owners knowledge/consent)
Any GC regulars/residents fancy doing a little leg work ? |

We were in kims bar yesterday and come back bar think we're more likely to use kims bar as €1.50 compared to over €5 in come back bar for a large beer so be in kims tonight after 10 if anyone about say hello  |

Agreed. For those that care a pint of lager and a bottle of cider wAs €6.50 at the comeback. Not bad At all. Had a great time in fun for all loved it. |
