Hi all,
Thought we would start a thread for every1s tips... good and bad about Gc.
Think its a good idea to get them in one place which is easy to scroll through...everything from swingers info to resturants...as we cant ne naked all the time...only most of the time...lol

Our favourite vanilla hotel is ifa catarina as it has a huge nudist terrace on the roof with showers and toilets comfy sunbeds and now has a few double cabanna style sunbeds which are very nice
It is also located only 2 minutes wlak away from the cita centre where most of the swinging establishments are.
Half way between the hotel and the cita is an amazing resturant called Sakura 3 which has a super tapanyaki part to it

We are on our last day in GC we are staying in the RIU Waikiki and we have found it to be a brilliant hotel, they are open to gay and vanilla holiday makers, the are a short walk or taxi ride to the Yumbo or Cita centre,we have spent most nights in the miaw bar in the cita but have ventured to Venus swing club,and also seen a drag show. |

As far as drag shows go we think rickys and sparkles in the yumbo centre are quite good but there is also another in san agustin about 8e in a taxi from playa del ingles called music hall tavern...all the drink and 3 course meal is included in the price and it is very well put together and very very funny...well worth a try

We like to go to Boulevard El Faro in Maspalomas for a few cocktails of for dinner, the food along the beach front is very good an good prices..down side is they are to pushy an eager to get u in an feel the seats.. The beach down faro is by far the best.. Love the nude beach to  |

We love those restaurants down the boulevard too, and we'll be trying that Teppanyaki as recommended above! We're there 8th July for a week and will be trying more clubs than before, having only just tried Venus in La Cita previously. |

Taurito is more of a family resort as there is a small aqua park in the middle of all the hotels so its good for kids ect...there are a couple of nudist beaches in the valleys just before taurito...you might get lucky and see a bit of fooling around there but generally speaking its just nudists not swingers

We have stayed in a hotel called buenos aires right next door to the yumbo centre
Spotlessly clean and very central . 6 0r 7 mins walk to the cita centre and 5 from le sandia shopping centre where club 2x2 is. If you get in club 2x2 before 11 pm you can buy for drinks for the price of 2
We found the comeback bar a bit of a let down to be honest however we would reccomend miaow bar in the cita centre the owners are Dutch and great friendly hosts and the drinks are cheaper than comeback bar
We found the best club to be Venus
However in ll honesty we have been told that the best time to come here for swinging is between November and march as its very quiet on the swinging front here now
There is a restaurant in le sandia shopping centre called chez luigis .. Deffo worth a trip , food is brilliant and quite cheap . They also give u 3 bottles to drink from after you finish . One schnapps . A brandy and something else we didn't try
Buddies bar in yumbo centre has great food reasonable prices too

Another thing to note...
If you like to pamper yourself...the spa in the costa meloneras hotel is something else....over 10 different rooms including womb room, dead sea salt pool,huge sauna,igloo room(wall to ceiling ice) and also a big outside area to sunbathe and swim in.
If u go on your birthday it is free...just take passport to prove it...lol.

Repost of a handy bit of info
Best way to find comeback bar is if you go in the entrance from Av de Alemania (Germany street) right in front of you is a set of stairs go up these and walk straight ahead for about 30m and its the first bar you hit on the left...and if you want to find fun4all and secrets swigers clubs you just go down the steps instead of up and its ont the right hand side on the very last step...hope this help xxx |

we echo this the beunos aires is a great hotel very friendly staff, the comeback bar to us is nowt special the miaw bar in the cita ctr is class the dutch owners are two lovely sexy people give it a go you will love it  |

we're off to GC for 2 weeks on 17th july but staying puerto rico not playa. Doubt we will meet anyone but you never know your luck in a raffle. Will be going playa for one night out xx |

There are lots of threads on where to go on here but as a recap Cita Centre has swinging bars on the top level and in the basement and three swingers clubs close to Miaow bar in the basement. Up the road about 8 mins walk is La Sandria Centre and in the basement there is 2 x 2 swingers club, all can be lively or quiet depending on who's around at the time. We are in GC maspalomas from the 17 july for 2weeks only 26days to go, were so excited if any one wants to have a cheeky drink an chat etc come say hi we won't bite unless u like that hehe |

Summer hols is when Mummy n Daddy take the kids on holiday and play "happy families"
Winter hols is where Mummy n Daddy go alone and play at "Mummy is a slut and nobody knows her"
Ask the club owners which is the busiest month, ask at La Mirage which is the busiest month, ask Kris at 2x2 which month he runs out of locker keys, ask the guy who charges for the sunbeds at Kiosk 4 which month you cant get a sunbed after 9.30am, all will tell you the same......

We went last year in June/July and found it very quiet in 2x2. But if you find the right people, you can still have lots of fun. We too find October/November best time to go if you want busy and variety!! |

Just back and missing it already. Found a fantastic restaurant called Time, on the other side of the lighthouse from the boulevard but not on the concrete strip but behind the Rui - check it out on trip advisor as there are lots of folk agree with us.
Once in Cita don't miss Meouw (right opposite Fun4All) always lots of swingers in getting in the clubbing mood |

hi, ok so if we were to take the plunge in newby language as we have never been before to playa where should we go and what times etc? going in 3 weeks. we would be jumping in a taxi and saying "ok...such and such place please". thanks xx |

yeah thats what i mean we're not staying in playa we are about a 20 minutes taxi drive away so we would need to know where to go before hand. it would be for a night out x |

In Playa del Ingles you will find quite some swingersclubs and meetingpoints. Which one you will prefer I guess is a matter of personal taste and meeting the right crowd.
You will find these clubs in Centro Commercial Cita:
Secret C
Fun4All C
Venus C
Comeback Bar MP
Dreamtime MP
Miauw MP
Than club New Eternity in centro commercial, club 2X2 and MP budha4 in Sandia centre.

Than some other personal favorites as a resident here:
for breakfast and great pies Tartissima in San Fernando (near roundabout Los Tulipanes)
lunch Bella Vita in San Fernando, near centro coomercial Bellavista, great pizza and cute blue eyed boys
afternoon drinks at Friar Tucks, opposite Boney M at the Avenida Tirajana, cheap drinks and lovely staff
for shopping go to Vecindario or Las Palmas

Mieow bar is cheaper because they fill normal diarano bottles up with cheap drink we know because we watched them do it with diarano and Baileys bottles so I bet all the other bottles are the same 28th june we seen them do this
Would we go again prob so as we drink lager and it's same price as come back bar . it was dead when we went fri 28th june hopefully when we are back oct it will be different

Interested in GC for our holiday next year. Went to Spice in Lanzarote this year and loved it but found theres not much else on the rest of the island lifestyle related so maybe try Gran Canaria next year. Quite fancy trying out La Mirage. Anyone been and how would you rate it? Also seeing a few people saying November is the busiest time to go but doubt we would be able to go then, is August/September still pretty busy for swingers? |

If you are walking on the beach from the taxi rank it is about 1000 metres, takes us about 10 minutes at a stroll. It will be obvious by the nudists when you get there, but it also has a sign to say nudist area. There are sunbeds at front of the beach, but we always walk back into the dunes where it is not so busy and thus, quieter. Hope you have a great time!! |

Thank you we only been on the sun beds at the nudist part so far but its still lovely we mite explore the dunes the only down side are the single men walking about one stud 10 foot away and licked his lips a little finger sign scared him of thou lol |

Had a stroll along the beach past kiosk 5 late this afternoon. Pretty quiet, although I haven't ventured out in the dunes yet lol..tomorrow I'll get down there early and my ads will get some sun! Hopefully have more to post soon

I can recommended sunsetbay for dinner and mono beach bar for early evening drinks. Both are at atlantic beach club on a 5 min walk from kasbah. |

We visited secrets swingers club in the cita a couple of weeks ago and had a great time...good musice...very clean...lots of areas to have fun in....huge stage area...good drinks prices and ver nice staff.
Well worth a visit on your first night in GC

We are having a private swingers page (with the same name as our profile dot com) , where we try to inform about Gran Canaria and blog about our experiences (on the swingers side) We are trying to write about clubs and meeting points, about La Mirage but also about other stuff.
