Have you been before to either? We've had a look at both, one seems to be a cafe in nit the nice part of town the other and upmarket venue for couples/unicorns in a nice sort of town....comes with the price tag to match...€180 |

We went to sameplace a few years back when we were in Amsterdam for Christmas. It’s not a luxury venue, more a bar with some play rooms downstairs but it was perfectly clean. Good mix of couples and respectful single guys as well as a couple of single ladies too. We had good fun there and enjoyed the vibe, we felt it was quite similar to British clubs.

Yes, went to Fata Morgana in February. It was excellent and well worth the price. All drinks and food included (not that we wanted food particularly) and the club itself is luxurious. It was a really international crowd and we had a great time. We got a bolt from our hotel. |

We have a central hotel in Amsterdam 5th-9th.
Fata Motgana is fabulous, we used to visit quite often. Sameplace is a bar with play spaces, not really our thing. We were wondering about Showboat if anybody has been?

We’re in Amsterdam until the 9th and always love coming back—this city never disappoints! Heading to Sameplace tonight and Fata Morgana on Saturday. Both spots offer completely different vibes, but we’ve had nothing but great experiences at each over the years. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces there! |

Heading to Amsterdam 13th-15th for some naked day time relaxing in the spa and then will be at the clubs in the evening. Any club suggestions welcome. We have been to fata Morgana a few times. We do like single guys so anywhere that allows single guy in would be our preference. |

Sameplace allows single guys. It’s not a great location for places that allow single guys (entrance by themselves alone in this context). I haven’t been to it myself as have been to Morganas a few times and had fun. But considering it on Friday for the first time to experience it. |

Went to same place night . Good night . About 10 couples there . The guy runs the door , admission smoke breaks etc. 2 girls on the bar where you run up your tab . They only take cash no cards. Clean place . Pay areas beside the toilets where we did not see anyone playing . And play areas downstairs where a lot of couples where playing . We would say depends on your night going as I’d say some nights are quiet . Also your only allowed for a smoke when “he” says so lol xx |

I’m in Amsterdam for a few days at the end of the month and would love to visit but afraid I might get turned away as a single man?

You just need to be there early, I recommend going when it opens. It will be quiet to start with but they only allow a certain amount of single guys in so once that quota is hit you won’t get in. |
