Is there much there?
We would like to try somewhere else but there is quite a lot in Gran Canaria, a swingers complex, the dunes, 3 swingers bars and 5 clubs, so plenty of variety.

I suppose it's because, especially during the winter months, Gran Canaria is swinger grand central.
There are other places to go but none other than Cap d'Agde (and that's only a short summer season) with the facilities for swingers available at GC.
However it's April now so I would expect to see a few more Cap d'Agde threads popping up in the next few weeks.
BTW. We are there (Le Cap) for a week from July 6th. |

I would certainly agree that the best beaches are on Fuertaventura, but there is very little (if anything) for swingers other than arranging private meets.
Also last time I went to Fuertaventura in December a few years ago it was bloody freezing and blowing a full gale for 3 days. Never had that problem at the same time of year in GC or Tenerife. Maybe just unlucky but I've heard similar from others. |

From my experience and reading the other comments there are beaches, and beaches, and if you don't like the beaches you can go to the Beach. |

Well done with the list of bars/clubs _otlovefun42, spot on.
We do get a bit bored with GC, have been so many times now, but it is difficult to find anywhere else to go in our winter.
We do like clubs. not really in to arranged meets, like spontaneous.
We were looking at hedo, but the thought of being stuck on a complex for two weeks with a load of Americans kind of put us off!
We like Cap d'Agde but season is only May-September, after that it's cold and everything is closed.
Must say we didn't like the clubs though, thought they were dated and expensive, clubs in Gran Canaria are far superior.
Imgine of Chris could move 2x2 to cap d'Agde, he'd clean up! |

Yes we can relate to most of what you say, apart from being bored with GC. I (Rob) used to go to the Canaries 3 or 4 times a year in the 90's but last month was our 1st swinger trip there, so haven't had time to get bored yet, but we'll work on it
We love Cap d'Agde, but like you say it's a short season and the clubs there could certainly do with a makeover.
We've never really fancied Hedo, not so much a problem with the Americans as a problem with Jamaica itself. It's not a country we would feel safe in.
As (like us) you prefer the club scene maybe you should give Germany a try, not much in the way of winter sun but there are some fantastic clubs here. |
