SPALDING

What's the best cruise line and ship you've been on and why?

I'm cooking at planning/booking a cruise and can't decide. Royal Caribbean seems to be my favourite atm from what I've seen on YouTube.

Glasgow

Royal Caribbean is good but it is down to the individual. P&O are very British, quiet, respectful and not in your face.

RC are good fun but louder, more likely to interrupt you, "have a nice day!" etc. It depends on what you want.

In our opinion only and order from best to worst we have been on is:-

Celebrity

Royal Caribbean

MSC

Costa.

Not a lot between RC and MSC to be honest but, again IMO, the dining room experience is better on Royal.

We have sailed more on MSC because they seem to offer best value.

Wouldn't do Costa again.

Oh best ship was Celebrity Eclipse. Was brand new when we sailed on her.

I've not heard anything hoodabout Costa or msc, but good to see that you've said they're ok

Cardiff

Sailed with...

Cunard

Holland America

NCL

Princess

Celebrity

MSC

Depends on taste and size of wallet. Cunard by far the most sophisticated, if can afford Princess or Queens Grill then even better. Plus if wish to dress up for dinner....

Also itinerary, fancy the South Pacific then Holland America.

Horses for courses, or seals for sailing!!
