Maybe first decide if you want a big, glitzy ship like Royal Caribbean or Celebrity, or would prefer a much smaller, friendlier boat like Fred Olsen.

We look at the itinerary first then the ship and of course any deals that are on offer.

I guess you will be cruising from Southampton where most of the bigger ships sail from.

Although Ambassador sail from Tilbury to the fjords.

Have booked 2 cruises with different lines next year because they sail from Scotland hence the convenience.

Will ve our first trips up to Scandinavia too.

We usual sun seekers med adriatic carribbean

It would have to be really rough.

We usually go for a lower deck cabin with sea view less rolling than upper decks though the ships have stabilisation they can deploy in rough weather to reduce the roll though its the Captain s choice as I believe it uses more fuel.

Go for it you will love life on board

W Midlands & N Wales

Likely to be pretty cold in November!!

Did it in July a couple of years back and a few of the spots were still chilly then (and snowy too!!)
