We stayed in the Rui Palace last year, beautiful place plenty to do in the hotels, the Palace was quieter than the Guanacaste though. The foam parties, sports bar etc
Cheaper buying excursions on the beach and from along the beach from the wee shack.
Boat taxi to the next wee fishing village was worth it.

Thanks, we'll check it out. But we don't really want to wander around outside resort except for the excursions etc. Would prefer to meet a couple in the resort or to go together for the holiday.
