Hey people! Any of you locals any tips for reducing flight costs , im 6-10 trips a year and from April I have to pay for them plus friends and family visiting etc
Even with Emirates Platinum card and Skywards it’s costs a fortune even in economy, been looking at KLM & Turkish but it adds 3 hours just to save £200 per trip. |

I work in travel and the cheapest way is with KLM however when you add on luggage it brings the cost up to pretty much the same as Emirates. Sometimes Baltic Air in the winter can be a cheap option, also look at Royal Brunei from Heathrow as they can sometimes be cheap, along with Gulf Air with short connections in Bahrain |

Thanks for the tips
Because of the frequency of trips, my other home in Notts and cost of long stay parking I always fly from Birmingham and use Uber. It’s working out 750 per trip with 2 Ubers.
Don’t need luggage, just my laptop.
For some reason buying ticket in AED Is far more expensive than GBP so I have to stagger my flights, flying into Dubai on the inbound part and back home on a new ticket (outbound)
