Hi. Got some leave to take at work before Christmas, so was toying with the idea of a few nights away. Would probably be solo travelling so was wondering if anyone had any advice about solo travelling in general, albufeira and the algarve, and what it all has to offer  |

To be brutally honest with you, at this time of year 90% of the tourists that are about are groups of male golfers on a golfing holiday. So if you are looking for men having a few days away from their wives and desperate for naughtyness then its a good place BUT if you are hoping to find a woman or a couple it is close to being the worse place you could pick. There is really no swinging scene here and the only chance of meeting anyone is by checking who is near on your phone. There are nude beaches a few miles out of town but still the chance of scoring is low. If you just want a few days away for some action, Canary Islands, Vera Playa or Cap dAgde would be much more fruitful. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. |
