I was out there for 10 days (Jeddah) during August and couldn’t detect a thing along the lines of swinging but perhaps 10 days wasn’t enough to see/participate in any shenanigans
Good luck in your search though |

Just be extra careful… if any nosy neighbours suspect anything they will report it to the police and it can get all involved into big troubles for sure.
Out of curiosity what is taking you to Saudi?! Why Saudi…
Best wishes and good luck |

I have been offered a short term job there and am contemplating it - I am reading that it’s a hell for lgbt people but wondered if sites like this worked or what sites worked "
Hi
Did you move out here. We work all along the gulf region and I got to say a lot of the replies we have read are laughable. It's totally changed. Attitudes are more relaxed and the populace are becoming extremely sociable. There is a vibrant lifestyle for couples, we ourselves use S D C which is international. You will find single guys (just like anywhere) but from experience we know a lot of couples don't bother with them. Fab ain't the place to net work. Drop us a PM if you want to know more. |

Totally agree, been here two years, and the pace of change is hard to keep up with. Too many westerners are ill-informed or listen to our western governments on what they want you to believe.
For instance, they are now actively selling Christmas trees in shops and had xmas celebrations last year in Riyadh, along with promotion of the festive period in the national paper. In fact, I am aware of some Saudi people who have started to mark the period with their own trees and giving of gifts. Never would have seen that a few years ago. |
