I've been twice
I found Kathmandu to be very stressful. But they were digging up the whole city the last time I was there. .
I found a lovely monastery called Kopan Monastery on the edge of the valley and stayed there three nights. It was just what I needed....
You're going trekking I presume? |

Staying in a monastery sounds like a relaxing/interesting thing to do, do you just turn up and book yourself in..?? |
