A birthday present to take a peek at the northern lights.

Thinking of a break in Tromso, Norway.

Heard some good reports.

Anyone been, what are the trips like once we arrive ?

I've been to Tromsø. Loved it. It was May though so no lights. More like 24/7 daylight

I didn't drink when I was there. Sorry!

I went to Lofoten on the ferry from Tromsø though. To Svolvaer...that was great

Alcohol and life in general is very expensive in Norway so be prepared!

I saw them this year in Finland and it was stunning to watch, an experience I want to see again just fingers crossed you get to see them tho
