Going to Cape Verde Boa Vista in April... we fancied a long awaited quiet beach break and the handful of people that I know who have been said its v quiet , nice hotels, nice beaches and nothing much going on other than relaxation..
Has anyone been and if so any recommendations / advice on what to do / where to go ? |

Just come back from Boa Vista 11 days ago so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
You're correct it's very quiet and there isn't much to do except excursions watersports and some wildlife.
Highly recommended Tortuga Beach bar, Morabeza beach bar. Watersports are available at both places.
I can also recommend House of Sodade & Blue Marlin they had lovely selection of sea food to choose from.
Boas Campras is the big supermarket there. Limited selection of goods but enough for you to make home cooked meals.
I stayed in a lovely Airbnb that could host two couples for £198 and that was for 7 days. Right in the centre of town plus the owner runs a taxi firm too.
Anymore questions just ask. |
