Yes, living in Rhodes,Greece, I have had success meeting people on holidays, expat, and locals who used the "who's near feauture" here. Highly recommend using it when abroad. I think it works better than uk.

It does in Sweden and in Germany! It always ends up showing some people 500+ miles away back in the UK, though...
