I recommend you to get the Citymapper app in Amsterdam, it’s quite practical. For airport transfers, it all depends where your hotel or airbnb is located but the Schiphol airport is very well connected to the center via bus or train. Uber can also be an option with the standard fare. |

We usually get an Uber from the airport, then use the trams getting around. It’s easy enough to just use Google maps for the trams, it tells you the tram number and when to get off. Then on the last day venture into the outer neighbourhoods and then get the train from wherever back to the airport. |

"Does anyone here have any recommendations of airport transfers? "
Depends on where to. There are bus, taxi and trains at the airport. The trains are cheap and go to Amsterdam with plenty of stops on the way. |
