"Love Corfu..have changed our holiday to next year again..it's unlikely they'll make the green list..take up of the vaccine is very low..only approximately 25% fully vaccinated.."
The British tourism ambassador for Greece said on Tues that Greece will be on the green list soon, when soon is could be any when but vaccination rates on the islands have been ramped up massively in the last 4 weeks.. so plenty of hope for the islands to have some tourism this summer. |

I hope so, for all our sakes  I'm not sure about the vaccination rates. the appointments are not being taken up. They have opened a Mega vaccination centre in Corfu town, only 5 people turned up yesterday..I think people are not being kept informed as to where they can get their jabs and some of the young aren't compliant, with getting their jabs.. |

Your stats and information are the complete opposite to what we're being told, we don't know anyone who works in the tourist sector that hasn't been jabbed. |

Do your own research on their media sites etc..my information comes from the
locals, business owners etc. You must know a lot of people in the tourist industry, to know they have all been jabbed  |

Some good news! The curfew will, from Saturday, be from 1.30am to 5 am. The 25-29 year age group can start booking their vaccination appointments..let's hope they take them up, if they want their island to get the tourists back!  |

We'll be on the island soon hopefully.
Hopefully tourism will be back in full swing after the UK government July announcement.

We normally walk over to San Stef for lunch at least once or twice when we stay in Arillas. The walk back over the headland justifies the liquid lunch |

There are beaches where people go nude. We go to San Stefanos NW and go to the end of the beach and strip off. Also an area on the beach at Arillas. There are other beaches, where people just go to the end of the beach, away from the textiles and get naked! Not aware of any swingers scene, but swingers are about! |

Crazy isn't it.If we were still going, we would have had to go from Gatwick, instead of Stansted. Some of the accommodation is still not opening, mainly TUI ones. Some are renting out privately, they are desperate...and get no help from their government.. |

I've been doubled jabbed so dont need to do a test to fly out printed off from NHS app with my vaccination proof got a barcode on it to show when I get there.. that is their requirements but have to do a PCR test on return to UK |
