Just an observation.....
Were fairly surprised people have not decided to choose an alternative country to the Canaries?
Why not choose a different Country that has no return quarantine. A specific week and specific hotel and all meet up? |

"Turkey is excellent but unfortunately not hot in winter"
My folks lived in Alanya for 12 years. It very rarely gets cold there, nowhere near as cold as Wales that's for sure, haha. October shouldn't be too cold to go. Think you should avoid it in July and August though unless you like it around 50°C. |

Have you got any suggestions as to places that are warm, within a reasonable flight time and not subject to quarantines? We would love to find such a place in November. |

Just warm and a reasonable flight time are difficult enough in November (the main reason the Canary's were so popular) Put the quarantine situation into the mix and it becomes almost impossible.
I'm not sure what the quarantine rules are for Cyprus at the moment but it's about the only place I can think of.
Forget Greece and Turkey is (at best) hit and miss.
Also remember that we are still in September and quarantine rules can change almost overnight. |

True enough, flexibility is the name of the game. |

We’re supposed to be in PDI at the end of November but are thinking of alternatives now so would love to hear any ideas. If not we might go for a city break in Kraków instead. |

Cyprus - you need to have a COVIID test within 72 hours of your flights scheduled departure time, obviously a negative result is required.
You then complete the online Cyprus Flight Pass which is similar to other locator forms.
There is no quarantine on arrival in Cyprus or on return to UK.
Weather in November is mid to high 20’s in day but cooler at night.
Flight time from UK 4.5 hours |

The self isolation list can change at any time. We booked Malta and then 2 weeks after we booked it was put on the list. We decided to go anyway and are in Malta at the moment enjoying a bit of autumn sun. Isolate for 2 weeks when we get back but we will live with that although we know not everyone can do that. |
