Hello, planning Amsterdam for a long weekend very shortly with the wife, any must do’s for first timers? Good places to stay? Have flights booked but no plans yet

Covid is boing a good trade in NL at the moment. Masks are not obligatory. More and more countries are putting Province North Holland on the do not visit and quarantined on return list so do check that out.
Recommend Canal Tour. There is also an eco one where you collect the rubbish from the Canel.
Wynand Fockink is a great place to try Dutch Geneva. Check opening hours.
Going to an Indonesian restaurant is a tasty. So are poffetjes and Pancakes. |

Fata Morgana still open too, booking mandatory, 15-20 mins from city center.
In town cafe sameplace open. Not exactly a swingers club but sex positive, everyone welcome cafe.
In town club paradise reopened, limited to 50 customers.
If you got a car, check parenclub-Monique.nl they are still open. (About 45 mins drive).
Fun4two still open too, booking recommended for Friday and Sunday, mandatory for Saturday. (1h drive)

Also showboat Zaandijk is open and will start Friday afternoon parties next week. Face mask mandatory in public play areas.
A nice restaurant with a view is Pllek a free 10 min boat ride to NDSN in the north side.
Note the latest restrictions means that all nightlife has to close at 1 am at the latest |
