Ha - I was fortunate enough to work for some time for the magazine that published those mags. Great times. Much more strait-laced than you'd even imagine to be honest....I'm more shocked by what is said now in the office than I ever was then!
Sadly, the magazine industry has gone kaput in the last decade or so but I will always look back on those times with great affection! |

I remember Janet from Hull as she was in a couple of times when the wife was in a few times as well still got all the ones she was in. |

I remember seeing Janet from Hull quite a few times too.
My favourite was published under many different names (as seemed to be the fashion) one of which was Miss Jones from Spurn Point. |

The hubby took a few pics of me back in the day and sent them to razzle, Fiesta and escort. I did appear in razzle twice and Fiesta.I also appeared on a free video that was given free with razzle. It wasn't a video as such but a collection of pictures that you could view on your tv. |

Theirs still plenty of Janet from Hull on Flick.r ... Janet has been used as an example a few times at my photoshoots for couples.. but yeah I bought many a top shelf mag in the day.. used to find them in the some works toilets too |

Yes and no. They were genuine letters from contributors but whether they had actually taken part in the storyline we'll never know. Probably one in every magazine was genuine, but they'd also have people who would write them like articles. Editor would give them a scenario and they'd send something in 24 hours later. Could have been three from the same person in one magazine for example.
But then, that's likes the RW's themselves While some were genuine wives/partners and amateurs, a lot were Eastern European models particularly from the Baltic countries. |

We used to send in a story along with the pics. Made a few quid, just fantasies though  Never did make Wife of the month  |

my favourite was Joanne from Bristol, her amateur pics were in Escort section titled Escorts Most Wanted. Very attractive bleach blond with a great smile. She had what looked like a black lizard tattoo on her left side of tummy. She went on to do two professional photoshoots that appeared in Escort and I believe she appeared in an Escort on line video. |

I wrote a story for Fiesta magazine about some friends and I picking up a gorgeous blond woman in a nightclub and gangbanging her in my flat. It got published but the magazine changed the ending which really pissed me off. I only realised it had been published when i found the story reprinted in a Fiesta Readers letters book (which I've since sold). Luckily I have a copy of the original story printed and in a drawer somewhere. |

I just dug out a couple of my Escort magazines this weekend - still love the readers wives. It's a reminder of what the world looked like before photoshopping, airbrushing, lip implants - all the fakery that detracts from natural beauty.
It's the fact you could just bump in to some of these women out and about that made it so exciting. That, and the fact they were naked obviously 
I did have a letter published in Knave in 1990, I was 17 and a committed reader of filth (just like now really). I had kind of forgotten about it until I had a reply about a year later - which my mum had opened. That took a bit of explaining  |

I loved reading monthly Forum. I was subscribed to it to be sure I had it every month. Was full of readers stories and fantasies. In my eyes it was the best one out there lol. Such a shame it is no longer published  |
