Historically slut has always been derogatory. It's use changes from meaning dirty unkempt woman or woman who keeps a dirty home. It's always used in insult.
More recent years it's started to mean a woman with loose morals and is used for women who have ( shock horror ) sex!
Right up to date it's used by swingers, polyamours etc to mean that they have the freedom to have sex with who they like. This annoys me. Why feminists swallow that shit that taking ownership of a word is empowering is beyond me.
~Women would have to take ownership of zillions of words.....slut . slag . whore . prozzie the list is endless....
It isn't empowering. ANY lable is used to keep you down.
It's no co incidence that there are hundreds of names to lable women this way and none for men. |

As has been said previously, I find it sexy as hell when Im very horny for Ant to call me his dirty little slut because I know the context in which he means it, That is I know he is not using it as a derogotary term or put down, merely because we both find it sexy but if someone else were to call me it I wouldnt be happy in the slightest and they'd soon know it!!!! |

It really does matter who is calling me a "slut" and more important where. As a general rule I don't have a problem with being called a slut.
Don't like being called a Whore. |
