Great word, used in the English language for centuries. Interestingly, it's the only word that refers to the entirety of a woman's genitalia.
It was actually men who effectively outlawed the word, viewing it as 'a vulgar word for a vulgar thing.' |

"Ever called anyone a Berk?
It is shortened rhyming slang - Berkshire Hunt...
Is that true? Love it!
My dad says Berk all of the time! "
Yes, absolutely true.
Next time just say... 'who are you calling a cunt, Dad?' |

I knew the rhyming slang but didn't associate calling someone a berk with it.
The other rhyming slang is "grumble" short for "grumble and grunt". |
