We always like to meet socially and see if there's any attraction and if there is we then look forward to the build up to a play meet

I do both. It depends on the circumstances. Sometimes a club is cheaper than a hotel and suits better. |

We love to meet couples but sometimes it can be such hard work. Finding mutual attraction between four people is not always easy.
We often find ourselves ending up at a club simply as a last resort because of the let downs, or simply no responses to meets we put up. Or maybe it's just us LOL!
Always up for meeting couples in a local pub and then moving on to play quickly if everyone comfortable.

I do meet privately, simply because I have tried Clubs in the past but found them difficult to navigate!
That is, no matter how much club owners or staff protest that everyone is 'open' and that cliques don't exist, those very same issues DO exist!!
Even for myself, in being perfectly adept in being able to communicates to people, trying to get through that "Wall of Silence" in clubs is notoriously difficult, and often, intimidating.
Hence, why I give clubs a miss. |

We very rarely (if ever these days) meet outside a club.
Mrs H finds the meet for a drink and see how it goes routine very clinical and she's never been comfortable with it. In a club she is much more relaxed.
On the odd occasion we do meet privately it is always with someone we've previously met in a club. |

Social is a must! No social no meet!
We learnt the hard way how good some people are at photoshop. Safe to safe we didn’t play. We wouldn’t put ourselves in that situation again.

We have done 1 private meet 17 yrs ago, after we met them at a party. Since then only clubs, but tend to non swap nowadays. Socials are non important to us. If you click in a club have a good time then home that is OK for us, but we are more into same room non swap fun in clubs now when we do go. |

We've unfortunately had to deal with fake profiles, couples who seem nice but end up being pushy arse holes in person or just generally people we have had no spark with.
At least at the club we can enjoy the hottub if we don't have a good meet |

We prefer the clubs as can social and if things go brilliantly, rooms are there to be used.
Don't like the message ping pong any more nor arranging to meet in a bar and be let down. Plus I find meeting in a club is less pressure for me (Mrs) I can relax more and have a laugh.

I don't, I only meet in my local club. It works for me, i's where I feel most comfortable and it makes sense from a safety perspective. |

I love the excitement of meeting people in a pub. Surrounded by people who are unaware of the circumstances. I also like the moment you start talking about Fab and you have to lean in and the volume of your conversation drops.
I had just this type of meet a couple of Saturdays ago with a couple. The only problem was the pub was packed and it was difficult to find a spot to chat properly. |

No there are 'non-play' socials organised here and there in pubs. I went to a Croydon social in Feb and there's a London Bridge one next week and so on. |

We like going to single private meets. Not done one for a while after being ghosted twice on the trot.
We have been going to organised group socials like Cardiff,Brigend and Newport. At least then when they dont turn up still have good night. |

I'd always choose a social rather than a club first. However, it's far simpler to combine the two. A club provides plenty of options should you like, or dislike one another.
Everyone is in a rush to fuck nowadays. Keep sifting through the shit and you'll find a diamond ??

We always have a social first ,check we still want to go further which if we have done our homework to get to this stage we usually do ,but i still love a wee flirt before a meet even with regulars ,adds to the excitement etc ...  |

If meeting for the first time and its outside of a club its a social event only for us ... its hard to tell if theres a physical attraction until you meet up in person ... if its there we would arrange another meet up .. our preference would be to find singles/couples for regular encounters rather than one offs because we enjoy the social aspect as well as the play |
