People have their own perceptions of their size ....
I have seen a lady on here who says she is a size 10 and classes herself a fabulous
I like the terms ... I don't feel the need to quote my dress size and I hate the term bbw ... so I use ample because to me that is what I am
I suggest that you worry less about the size of the women |

their current form may be vague and open to interpretation, but surely no one (or very few) would meet without seeing some pics first ?
the pic option allows the viewer to make his/her own interpretation of a persons build
it is best to use them to help you make up your mind
1 persons curvy is another persons fat
1 persons athletic is another persons average |

Average, Athletic and Slim seem to be equally vague as well. The number of athletic guys (normally with the words "rugby player build" on their profile) who have a layer of padding is beyond count on here. Average seems to be the new term for fat too.
Not sure what we could do instead as anything that allows people to interpret a word differently or to put their own choice in will have the same problems.
Don't think fabs could afford to send a team of specialists around to every member to give them a complete biomorphic workout (oooh-errr!) and then update their profile accordingly.
The only other thing I could think of is having other members rate you. And again that is open to abuse and potentially upsetting people. |

The ones who say ' athletic' .... oh yes peoples own perceptions of themselves can be amusing

my idea of curvy seems very different to what the majority onhere see it as
you can only get a proper idea of someones real build/shape from pics that show more than bodyparts and seeing them with ur own eyes in person
worded descriptions are vague or inaccurate mostly  |

I never even look at that part of a profile to see what someone has described themselves as
I'll look at the pictures and work it out for myself
ive just had to check how ive described myself,its not very exciting to describe myslef as average
I would rather use fabulous but I know on the scale of whats on offer on here fabulous is seen as larger,even though I agree with Eve thats its a state of mind |

It gets tiresome. At least it highlights the mentally challenged, those unable to work things out for themselves...another way of sorting the wheat from the chaff. |

The trouble is what one person considers curvy, slim, ample etc to be will be different to someone else.
One site we are on asks you to list your weight and to be honest I dont like that. |

It wasn't aimed at u guys! Just in reference to the same old crap, that's all it's been lately it's like a day doesn't go by with out a post on what size is what
Everyone has their own ideas on curvy, slim, etc

Doesn't bother me what people describe themselves as on their profile - I look at the photos (if available)and make up my own mind according to MY perspective.
The one exception are MEN who describe themselves as 'curvy' ... what's that about? |

i am curvy, i could also be described as fat, obese, over weight, but i have a curvacious figure,,, which could also be called voluptuous due to the sheer size of my curves... and yes fabulous is just vague... thats the point in having it!
just look at their pics if you wanna know what they look like... |

I class myself as curvy,ample and fabulous,and I agree that fabulous is a state of mind. I dont have photos on my profile but can attach a photo to any message and I can be available on a working cam to view.Give people respect and get to know the inner beauty of a person. Just my opinion. |
