hi, sometimes i find it very strange on here.Recently i have been chatting to a couple and exchanging messages sharing jokes for some time , i am always polite ,never rude ,and so were they,the last message was as convivial as all , then i find i cannot view profile ,so that means i am blocked.My question is why dont peopkle say we enjoyed chatting but thats enough, i'm mature enough to say i've enjoyed our messages and good luck, i feel a bit put out as i suppose that i had no inkling as i would have liked the opportunity to say good bye.Does this happen often, or am i too sensitive, |

We can only assume why.
You may honestly believe you've been polite etc, but you may have said something that inadvertently upset them...tailoring your messages to the wife excluding the husband perhaps?
As I said you can only assume, but remember they're a couple, they no longer want any involvement with you in their lives. Don't get clingy, remember people can change their minds and perhaps don't want confrontation. |

i was chatting to a female and was going to arrange a meet for a fortnights time, i put on my profile staus im decorating (would have been finished in a fortnight) and next thing ... im effing blocked!!! wft... just laugh n move on flower, there fookin loss x |

Could even be that they are taking time out due to something in their relationship or their personal lives and don't want to start explaining.
Or that they were having the same conversation with 5 other single guys and you made it do far but not to the shortlist.
Or you simply said something which was.fairly innocuous but it turned one of them off - which is the most likely. You probably weren't offensive or rude - maybe you just support the wrong football team! |

Equally, and I've no idea in your case if this is what happened, you could have been one of the guys who messages a couple every time they log on. I've had guys do something similar to me, 3 or 4 of them at once at one point. All just being polite and saying hi. So I'm polite and say hi back and try and start a conversation, only to get utterly banal answers. Sure polite and inoffensive, but totally dull and tedious too.
I prefer to chat when people have actually got something to say rather than chatting just because... |

Hey, I do know the sites had a few hiccups this week, I lost all my friends and certain people couldn't see my profile even thou they weren't blocked (texted me to ask why). 24hrs later all ok. It was strange. But if they have blocked you then unless they say why you will never know. Some block repeated messengers other cause you don't float their boat, hard to understand but don't let it get you down. X |

Are you def blocked or is their profile just hidden, as it;s not the same thing.
I hide my profile when I want no new messages...often to catch up with ones I haven't replied to yet...
Several people have taken offense at that, thinking that I have singled them out until I explain that I am hidden from everyone! x |

Hi - when I first came on the site - it was because I got cold feet, but now have learnt to just say Hi, love the banter and msges but there's not going to be more... if that makes sense? xxx |

Some people cant be honest some can. We blocked someone for asking one of us to meet when we only swing together. Another we took of friends list because they have children at home when meeting for social or fun and we wont do that. But we told them why we were doing it though |
