So I’m sat in a pub, having arranged a social with a seemingly nice lady from Fab.
We arranged to meet at 15:15
It’s now almost 15:45
I’ve messaged here to say I’ve arrived in case she’s running later but she’s not been on for over an hour.
How long is long enough to accept I’ve probably been stood up? |

Is she verified? She "might" be running late but bad form to not let you know...so leave.
Is she non verified? You've been had.

She’s got a veri from someone I have spoke with so innocently assumed all was above board.
I’ve just messaged them to ask about the social they had with her. |

I wait half hour, unless I'm really enjoying being out on my own.
I generally see a first meet up as a potential time to spend on my own.
It sucks to be stood up. Stand at the bar and enjoy a chat with someone else! Bet you're looking good and sure to catch someone else's attention! |

I think the best thing is to leave it, don’t message her veri’s. You’ve been stood up, it happens to most of us OP. |

Poor you but you are not alone. It has happened 2x to me and to loads of others. It makes me so angry that folk waste peoples time as time is the most precious thing that we all have. |

It’s awful when this happens. I’ve been in this situation a few times. Chatting for days, plan & agree to meet, then nothing . It’s just how some people are I’m afraid best thing to do is report & warm others |

I think they do it as it gives them some kind of power trip, it's a horrible thing o happen but most of us have experience d it on here at at some point. |

As a couple we have been let down so often we are almost surprised when folks do turn up ... i dont understand why anyone would go to the bother of arranging a meet to then not show .. for this reason we would only meet local to us and enjoy a drink .. the meet would be an added extra ..
Its a shame as we are completely genuine and if we arrange a meet bar emergencies would be there .. and cancel as soon as we could if an emergency did occur

Wouldnt go unless i had shared contact numbers so all parties can keep updated should there ever be an problems..
