I see loads of frustration/criticism on this topic, but what exactly does it mean?
Is it just blokes not turning up at meets or with fake profiles?
Apologies for my ignorance, but seems odd to me |

there is a guy on here in cumbria who at the last count had 11 profiles havnt heared from him for a while so begining to think admin finaly got rid of him |

hey - its not us who are non genuine
you have some couples with profiles that read like war and peace with all the demands they want - but yet dont have a face pic on their profile

How does not having a face pic showing on your profile make you non-genuine?

Never mind that. I'm more worried if the guys who DON'T say they are genuine are genuine or not.
Or is a guy who says he's genuine twice not genuine because it's a double positive or something?

but its always couples that insist that the single guy must supply a face pic
but when the single guy politely asks "have you got a face pic of you both for me to see"
the single guy gets blocked lol |

surely - looking at a couples face pic - gives the single guy as much right to say "sorry not my type"
surely single guys have the right to say "not my type" to couples as well

actually i say hopefully it stays exactly as it is.. because as it is as the moment the guys who do "get it" so to speak have the chance to stand out...
the site does give you all the tools as it is to do that.. if you don't take advantage of that, then it isn't the sites fault... |

Well done on the picture uploads, and yes my avatar is a shot of my backside.... But never did I claim to say my face pic was publicly shown.
Also why must people show their face public ally, it is again their choice. Many of those without a public face picture have them in the private gallery to show as and when to who they please.
Moving back in line with the original theme of the thread I would suggest it is not always single guys who are not genuine, females and couples can be just as bad at times. Unfortunately this is a free site, and there are people out there who may pose as others (have seen profiles with same pictures and different details - age for example) for thir own personal gains or amusement  |

when i was on here as a couple i found more fem (and they stand out a mile) and couples profiles to be fake. not really had any problems with the blokes  |

I think some do it to get access to free amateur porn and sex chat. Can usually spot that sort by their endless requests for pics and very sexually explicit messages about whats going to happen on the meet but they suddenly go all vague when you try and arrange a meet. |

We had a message from a single male purporting to be an expert in massage. He had no photos or verifications on his profile but had been picture verified throught fab. He sent us pics via email and gave us his mobile. He asked for lots of personal info, which we would not give him. This is obviously a male who just wanted to " get off" on the phone. His profile is now hidden. He also sounded much older than is suggested age of 39 . This is fake in our minds because he had no intention of meeting . |
