I dont think many nhs staff look at patients and feel the desire to engage in sexual activity with them..collegues yes but not patients |

Exactly this the debt incurred in training then the registration fees yearly, I know of someone in another hospital that lost her job and NMC registration due to a relationship with a patient.
It’s just not worth it.

Why nurses? Why not doctors or carers radiographers or physios? Why can't you stop sexualazing the nurses? This is one of the reasons why the general public don't take nurses seriously when in fact they are a vital part of the team and much more knowledgeable than most of the other healthcare professionals. If you think on nurses in a sexual way you are contributing to this. |

I did a fair few years as a frontline EMT and the job is so time pressured and you wear the uniform kind of like a shield, its there to protect you and reassure the public. In other words it is the very opposite of sexy, likewise the job is not like in fiction, its bloody difficult and take all your mental and emotional capacity. |

Absolutely disgusting. Would you have sex with a person who is vomiting, bleeding, shutting themselves, bleeding or everything at the same time? What about paediatric nurses? Do you think they even consider it? NO! THEY ARE BUSY TRYING TO KEEP PEOPLE ALIVE! Get out of your fantasy and go to a hospital sit down and observe them see if they are trying to get off with their patients or they are more thinking on when will they have time to go for lunch or go to the toilet because they can't even leave 5 seconds without someone needing them |

When I was 12yo I spent a great deal of time in hospital and developed a fondness for the nurses. This was more than wearing mere uniform,it was that they brought you all the good stuff with smiles |

To be fair, you make an excellent point. Big thanks too all of our NHS staff for the things they do for us and our loved ones. The point on lunch and toilet made me recall a related profession - the midwife. When our first was being born, a long and traumatic labour that made me find a whole new respect, a midwife had come to the end of her shift but refused to go home as the new shift came in. She told me she’d been with us for so many hours she was not leaving until she met that baby. She probably sees several born a day, whereas this was our first, but she cared that much about a group of strangers. We are so lucky to have all of our amazing medical professionals. Thank you! |

My wife's a nurse. She goes on quite a few hen nights so dresses up a lot. Most of them are nurses and the theme is never a nurse. Lots of other outfits though lol |

I'm not disputing that but the fact practicing nurses would consider getting it on with patients disgusts me |

Do like a nurse with curves in all the right places but you have to admit the old staff nurse ones are best as you don’t know if stockings or tights under them and I like the idea of guessing and leaving it at that. |
