There is a very good electro stim forum for anyone wanting to Smart Stim but I guess posting a direct link would get me blocked as although it is not run commercially it would still be seen as an external site.

"oh it will certainly work on you i can promise you that,"
the only reason I was asking is my mate used to find it funny to run this thing he had that gave electronic pulses against people.. it gave most people a sudden shock.. and would continue to do so unless the connection was broken
He got bored doing it to me as I never noticed as it had no effect on me what so ever.. so I a wondering how they would differ lol

Mine is an actual e-stym not a tens machine. It gives different sensations and different levels of stimulation. I have it mainly internally which is, to me, mind blowing |

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) use electric currents to stimulate the nerves for therapeutic purposes usually the easing of pain. TENS is thought to work in two ways:
•On a high frequency, by selectively stimulating certain 'non-pain' nerve fibres to send signals to the brain that block other nerve signals carrying pain messages.
•On low frequencies, by stimulating the production of endorphins, natural pain-relieving hormones.
When looking for electrostimulation clearly you don't want to end up blocking the signals from the nearves so properly designed E-stim control boxes use slightly different frequencies. The most complex units can also have varying stimulation signals. If you want to see how complex, and unfortunately expensive, the cotrol systems can get search for the ErosTek 312B. |

At the bottom end of the E-stim specific control units there are people producing them by modifying amplified portable speakers and driving them from specially prepared 'audio' tracks from mp3 players.
Anyone think about trying this really should look for advice from a specialist E-stim community though as I believe this homemade type of system can be quiet damaging if not done correctly. |
