Near Carmarthen

As a cold is a virus no medication will have any effect on the cold.

So all you can do is try to relieve the symptoms by:

Resting, drinking plenty of fluids and eating healthily, taking over-the-counter painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, to reduce any fever or discomfort and possibly using decongestant sprays or tablets to relieve a blocked nose.

Thanks. Think I might try nightnurse. Reviews online seem pretty good

hiding from cock pics.

I really find Lemsip or similar works for me.

Likely it's just the paracetamol in there working so if you don't have it that day maybe just paracetamol

Paracetamol and steam inhalation for a blocked nose. All the other stuff has a similar effect at five times the price.

"Paracetamol and steam inhalation for a blocked nose. All the other stuff has a similar effect at five times the price."

Said that minus the rediculously over priced cold remedies

This! Traditional over the counter remedies are a con.

I use sudafed nasal spray during the day to sort out blocked nose, cough sweets for the throat and paracetamol if I’m feeling rough before bed.

Plenty of fluids is the main thing.

Not exactly OTC but cs gas

It's something you train with a couple of times a year in the military, and despite the unpleasant effects there is nothing like it for clearing out your sinuses

Sudafed has helped me before

Think you can get day and night pills too.

Nightnurse knocks me out, I only take half a dose, I feel so out of it the next day

Prevention is better than cure - ok

Follow this advice and you will never get a common cold ever again ok

Always read the label

Take one 25mg tablet a day of zinc

( available at any health shop )

Never ever miss a day of taking it

Zinc strengthens the immune system

And creates a barrier just like a sheet of paper

If you miss a day then imagine a pin being pushed through the paper - then it won’t work

If you never miss a day - then you will never get a natural cold ever again
