LOADS of frustrating chats....
Really good correspondence, back and forth. Come the following day it’s tumble time..... nothing further comes of it.
I often assume it was all bollocks and just a way of killing time or getting wank fodder on their part. Which sucks balls, massively!!!

People don't message back for many reasons. It happens all the time on here. It can be fustrating.
There are plenty more candidates, though. Just move on to the next. |

I think Couples and especially Women struggle with the sheer volume of Men and other Couples on this site.
I can see how they would easily forget to reply or messages will fade into the ether. Plus everyone on here has a real life too with real life pressures and responsibilities.
Best not to take it personally, maybe pop up once as a little reminder. If you still get nothing move on. |

I agree, there is life away from fab that needs to be lived too.
I doubt my inbox gets as busy as others on here but it can become overwhelming at times and I do miss some so it's no surprise that others miss them too. |

I get this often especially the last few days, chatted to a few Doms and they all just stopped or take 3 days to reply when they are clearly online. I use to message asking why they stopped?, Ive learnt not to chase anyone now and its their loss x |

People have lives.
Sometimes Fab isn't the priority in them.
Casual chat between strangers or virtual acquaintances will always come second to work/family or many a real life activity.
It is what it is. Patience is key.

How long do you wait before you send another message after you haven’t received a reply? If it’s a short while afterwards, it may appear ‘pushy’.
Sometimes we don’t get a chance to reply back straightaway or for a few hours, we do have lives outside of fab.

I just chat in the forums now, guaranteed a read, responsenand jokes I've learnt there's a lot of moans and groans so I don't get too involved in PM's, just go with the flow. |

Back in January, I met a funny, friendly lady at a social and we immediately clicked.
For the first time since joining, I've had the pleasure of an extended dialogue - exchanging long, engaging messages with her every day, for the last 3+ weeks.
To make sure we don't run out of topics, she suggested going through the alphabet (just finished 'C') - learning a lot about each other, in the process.
It is amazing to finally find someone on the same wavelength, so I'm not about to drop the ball and disappear. |

Conversations get dropped all the time. Whilst I understand people have a life and don't expect an instant reply , if I don't get a reply within a reasonable amount of time I just move on |

i delete all my sent messages, this way you don't need to worry about whether they read it or not...if you get a reply, great, if not, keep it moving.
No need to send follow up messages or get upset & write a post about it. This will only wind you up more when you read a reply like this |

Generally our rule is never message twice, if there's something there they'll carry it on. Obviously you have to apply some common sense to this rule, if a conversation ends you can restart it the next day but if it's an on going conversation and they don't reply to your reply they're obviously not that fussed and you're probably hassling them.
Also worth noting though if Mrs is talking to someone I'll often leave messages unread for her to reply to so will appear online but not to have read messages, generally I'm on standby at work and don't want to get into something only to disappear. |

It's been happening a lot to me lately and the sad part is they make first contact then just ghost you after a few messages |

Seems to me that replies here seem to be moving on too fast. Maybe you never build a conversation to a point where you have any confidence in the people you're talking to, but we certainly do and even if we've not met them we've had plenty of situations where we've followed of an unanswered message and things have picked up again just fine. Typically with a message from them like "oh, I'm so sorry, I forgot to reply!"
There are some nice, decent people with private lives on here too you know..? |
