When people say
“ must be over 5ft 8”
If they saw someone who was 5ft 7
1. Would they get a tape measure out?
2. If they found them attractive, would that inch put them off ? |

Surely it’s a general guideline?
I know in some matters an inch or two can make a hell of a difference but an inch in height can’t be a deal breaker, can it?!?
I’m fortunate as I’m a tad over 6ft and do find woman like that.

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters |
I understand that height plays a role in attraction and female mate choice (evolutionary biology & psychology), and of course everyone is entitled to have their preferences...
However, in this new age of online profiles and internet dating/hooking up, it can get a bit restrictive and frustrating for some guys (just to add to an already stacked deck) where you can get passed over/dismissed very, very easily for not meeting very specific criteria that would never be noticed or come into play in "normal" or "old fashioned" face-to-face dating.
For example, I'm 5'11 and easily the most common female cutoff or specified criteria is "must be at least 6'" or "I like tall men so 6'+ ONLY" etc. I mean, in my boots or shoes I am indeed 6'. And in person can women really distinguish between someone who's 6' and someone who's 5'11? I doubt it.
It's like when guys specify a woman's age or body measurements. Like, again it's fine to have preferences but there's a point where you can get too caught up on very specific, very narrow numbers that crosses over into just shallowness, in my humble opinion.
Thankfully I think most women understand this and are generally open-minded and forgiving over a couple of inches here or there, provided the guy(s) in question are ticking boxes in other areas. (For example I doubt many women would choose a 6'2 who's arrogant, scruffy and average-looking face over say a 5'9 who's kind, clean and handsome face). |

My partner has recently admitted to me that size does matter.
She's happy with me just over 7"... But she'd like more. And girth too. I'm adequate, but...
TBF, I'd love to see her fucked senseless by someone huge.

We have a height preference.. Purely because I want a man to be taller than me whilst Im wearing heels.
However its not the be all, if we met a guy in a club who ticked our boxes but he wasn't quite tall enough it wouldn't be a deal breaker. |
