I met my partner on here, messaged him first but it was very nearly a non-starter as about 2 days later I broke my knee, badly, and ended up in hospital. He persevered (even though he was told by me to forget about me), eventually got invited round to mine for a social (as I was unable to go out) and we have been spending almost every single weekend together ever since. |

Yep! I can and does happen.
I met my girlfriend on the forums and we're very much in love. Neither of us were looking for it but it just happened.
Feelings are a dirty word around here sometimes but if you're both single and open to it, it will happen wherever people meet, fab is no different. |

Do you think more people meet through the forums for longer term friendships and potential relationships than off forums? It just seems a better shop window than just a profile to chat, banter and connect without that initial pressure of 1:1 |

They say that you find love when you're not actively looking. I think it's perfectly possible for someone to meet someone whom they will come to love, and it may be helped by the fact that they're not looking for more than some fun and basic compatibility. The lifestyle can mean no games, no expectations, and in that situation love can happen where it might not, elsewhere. |

Yep. We met on Fab a while ago, was supposed to be a casual thing, but it's much more than that now. Living together and madly in love. Life happens while you're making other plans... |
