I enjoy cock/ball rings and have to use silicone due to size issues. I bought a 50mm split ring and it doesn't fit. I then bought a 70mm steel ring and that's too big when soft so I'm currently hunting for a 60mm to see if that's the ticket.

It would have to be ridiculously tight to have to be cut off. Rule is if it feels too difficult to get to n then it won’t come off. But you will know this when trying to put it on. Also, oddly enough, metal ones can be easier than silicone as not so slippery when lubed up. |
