is age a problem?

I've been on Fab for a few weeks now, and have kinda been wondering is age an issue for couples?
Do couples usually tend to go for people roughly the similar age, do they look for younger participants or older?
Being in my twenties and the average demographic being between 35-50, i dont seem to get much interest (that might just be me haha) so was wondering if that plays an important part. |

Age is undoubtedly a factor but I've seen threads from men in every age group saying that they're excluded due to their age. The exception being the 35 to 40 group, I don't see many from them.
I think being under 30 might hinder you a bit but a lot of people choose who to meet based on much more than age. |

Yeah i think i totally agree with you, which is a shame really.
Im guessing age comes with subliminal stereotypes, such as immaturity and experience but again without chatting or meeting they will never know, right? |

I always before prejudged really young guys as inexperienced and mentally immature until I slept with a 22 year old posing to be 31...i really thought he was 31 from the way he was... Tbh he's one of the best sexual partner I ever had in my life so goes to prove never judge a book by its cover. However saying that, its so difficult not to when women on here get unindated with messages all the time. |

Also remember with most couples, because they have each other a meet has to be something special because they aren’t needed. A guy coming in is just a bit of fun, so time will be spent to make sure the guy is just right. That’s why some guys get to meet lots of couples and some never will. |

The answer to this and all the similar questions is, that couples, are not one group with similar desires and or preferences. They can be broken down into umpteen groups all looking for something different, this applies to single women too. In short there is something for everyone, you just need to find the ones that want you. |

It's no issue as long as you respect what other peoples wishes and what they are looking for.
If you are outside their age perameters,then you are most likely not what they are looking for. |

When I first started swinging,even doing as part of a couple or as a single, I had some ages issues because for some people they had kids my ages or older than me so they wouldn't play with people under a certain age
But that's cool your never gonna fit everyone's list but some people only play with people under a certain age so it's swings and roundabouts I think |

I think age does come into it, even when you dont want it to.
I would like to think it wouldn't bother me with the right people. We have had messaged from people who when I realise are my mums age and that instantly puts me off. Even if they are the nicest person I cant get around that.
However you're not that young its not like you are 18. |

Personally I prefer an older woman. Even go as far to say that I love to be a cub to a cougar. Find the whole scenario extremely intense. Oldest woman I’ve been with was 54 and that was an amazing experience! |

When searching always select the option “I’m the age they’re looking for”, This will only return results of people who have your age in their preferences.  |

Age wouldn’t bother MrG for someone to play with me, but I get messages from guys under 35 and although they look great, I delete them as just feel I’m far too old for them.

It depends on the person for us. I'm 25 so most of the guys on here that are labelled as too young are around my age.
We keep our age limit at 45 and honestly in our experience the men over 45 are way more disrespectful. They're crude and crass and think they're entitled to anyone here.
The forums are full of guys complaining theyre too old, too young, the wrong build but there's always someone who is looking for that type so don't let it get to you. |

Whole it's true that people will have various age ranges they prefer, as a previous poster said there's no hard and fast rule for each category and age demographic - the answers are as various as there are people.
I would suggest however that perhaps it's not your age that is the issue |

You have to realise you're not entitled. People are here to meet like minded people for them. That could mean no one young enough to be their child or old enough to be a parent.
If you don't meet someone's criteria, move on without petulance: this isn't the world of work, no one has to give you a chance.

This is why our age range is set to what it is. I have an issue with the idea of screwing with youngsters who could be my son's peers and, although less so, am not keen on the idea of guys old enough to be my Dad. My preference. |

Try being a nearly 52 year old TV. A lot of people near me cut off at 50. Plus they seem to forget that yes am a cross dresser but I have male bits that work. I just like wearing nicer underwear  |

In all honesty we won't meet anyone under 30 and rarely think of meeting anyone under 35. Purely because the messeges and expectations are a little immature in general for our liking. And there's the whole emotional roller-coaster. Lads suddenly falling in love blah blah blah.... |

Age is not an issue for us, it is a preference. We wouldn't feel comfortable with playing with anyone younger than our grown up kids.
Yes we hear "age is just a number", but so is 83 and we wouldn't be looking for that age either
Saying that, we realised a while ago that we are out of lots of peoples age range. As quite a few have an upper cut off of 50 (yes we know we use Palmolive  ) But we have to live with that too. But Hey Ho. |

I can understand some things people prefer but age!!! It's a swinging site not a dating site, so why is age a problem? Hate it when people message you and say age is just a number, well obvious it is to a lot in here, as I have experienced.
Been swinging a long time now and I must admit, I really did prefer older people every time, because it was never just about a shag! It was fun and laughs as well. Sandy X |
