You should be able to check on your local trusts website

I think it's really to treat men who have sex with men and women

It's different for all. But you'd be looking at probably 3 injections for each over a period of months.

The hep inoculations are a pill for one and two injections for the other, if I remember right.

The injection are in your buttock and hurt.

up above the streets and houses

It’s because of the rise in cases of hep b amongst men who have sex with men since 2013

I was offered the hep B last week at the sexual health clinic.

It was in my arm, it didn’t hurt afterwards and I have to go back in a month

Women aren't offered them at my local clinic the HepA nor the hpv vaccine as they believe most women over a certain age already have the virus but can get it done privately though.

Women can get the hepB though

I got offered hep B by my clinic last year but I've already had it through work as I handle blood products. If you're open about your lifestyle you often get more options which is great .

If you really don't want to answer any personal questions, it's recommended when travelling to certain countries so you can pay for it as a travel vaccine from your GP or I know superdrug does it too.

Hep B- one injection although you may need boosters, however some of us are immune.

HPV- three injections over three months, nothing worse than being punched in the arm as a kid.

Jabs for holidays- left me sore for days!

We were offered hepb at Infusions during our first routine sti test, despite no bi male play ever, nurse said recommended for our lifestyle. Blood taken and couple weeks later got call saying we had zero antibodies so called in for first injection to clinic, with more monthly as fast tracked due to being on scene, we now have to go for retest to see if worked. I do have a friend that is resistant to the inj, just doesn't work for her

Never knew any of this information as we always get our tests delivered to our house.

Getting an appointment locally is virtually impossible.
