Years ago when I was setting up my profile I figured it was worthwhile.
However, you don't even need to have your face in the "verification photo" so it does little more than prove that another person is on the other side of the screen. As opposed to proving they are who they are claiming to be.
"Meet" verifications either socially or otherwise are, on the whole, more beneficial and reliable in my opinion. |

Faking photo verification is far easier.
Getting verified by someone who has multiple veris themselves? Not so.

Oh. And how do you verify yourself from a second profile when in order to verify someone you need to be verified yourself.
Bit of a catch 22 and all you'll end up with is two unverified profiles.

You make a fake female profile, easier to get verified by others then you can verify your real profile  |

I did it initially as being a single male is hard enough initially without being verified
Did it make any difference is debatable however but I’ve not done badly on here so maybe it helped initially |
