Two french breed hunting type dogs. Both rescues and both had been in kennels for 3 years before we adopted them.
Also have two kakariki parakeets called Mr and Mrs Dave. |

We've had hamsters,gerbils,rats and guinea pigs in the past but are now down to 4 chickens, 1 dog and a host of fish! |

Well what breed we have would say I want a big show off dog. We have an Akita.
However that wouldn’t tell the whole story. He’s a rescue, We got him at four years old & he hates other dogs so they were struggling to rehome him & it was last chance saloon time. He can also never be off lead as if it moves he’ll chase it. So when we were looking at moving to Wales where had to fit in with schools & the dog. We actually found a slightly better house but walking him would have involved coming across others or going out in the car so we didn’t buy it. Here I can take him out & walk for an hour or more & we are not likely to see anyone except sheep.
So there’s more to it than what breed I’d say.

Used to have snakes, spiders, reptiles, amphibians, two dogs and a cat- sadly we lost them to a house fire, so now it’s just Bonnie, and my lil one has a bunny called Bunnicula. A surprise for her last summer xx |

That's a much more sensible amount of animals! My hens are mostly old ladies now so I only get one or two eggs a day at the minute. |

Great to see so many fabbers have rats, sadly we don't have any right now but would love to have them again in the future. Although, it's heart breaking that they don't live all that long given how much personality they have. |

I have 2 border collies ( I am a dog person) and two rag doll X cats.(quite like my cats too) My children wanted rodents for pets so I got them two cute kittens. Now if the ask for rabbits, budgies, mice or rats . They simply can't have them. That's what sort of person I am. Kind , caring and clever. Lol |

1 German Shepherd called willow,then we adopted peanut from Romania,1 year later will adopted Oscar who was found at 3 weeks old on a rubbish site also Romania,also my Toby who is from Romania who is a havenese.so 3 of my dogs under the age of 4 |

Definitely!! Haha, my puppy Vlad was a black collie cross, really fluffy fur, looked like he’d a crimp- my hair was really long and black, my clothing black lace, latex or pvc, so we really did look like the cliche of dogs and their owners xx |

It is nice to see there are people out there as crazy as us
We have 7 dogs, one is an Irish setter, a rescue German shepherd who was abused and 5 long haired chihuahuas with huge personalities. A cage free blue and gold macaw and a bunny who i hand reared from a week old. She is now 4 years old.

I have a cat, he's a fat greedy lazy moody boy but he's my baby and i would be lost without him.
He must have some sort of time clock inside him as every time i come home from work no matter what shift pattern I'm doing he's always sat on the top step (I live in a flat) waiting for me, always gives me a kiss hello...my heart says its because he's missed me, my head says it's because he's a greedy boy and wants food more like |

Growing up in South Africa was interesting, aside from the usual dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises and turtles. I got to have more interesting pets to... a mole, a clawed toad, a bat, an Eel, a Blue Duiker, several snakes and lizards, chameleons, a meerkat, a crow and and octopus... what can you read into that? |
