If you’ve experienced sex with both men and women but then find yourself no longer interested in same sex play, do you become straight again?
Out of interest kind of question as I’m trans and spent my whole life trying to be a guy having relationships with women.
Now I only want relationships and contact with men. |

Have experienced a very limited amount with other CDs that I dont see as standard men, I really couldnt care less if it ever happened again.
The mythical non op trans is pretty much non existent in the real world and me being a cd kicks that into touch as in my experience I'm far from what they would like romantically.
On top of all of that, I've always loved women and always will but find that honesty about what I like and where I've been is the best policy hence I appear on here like this.
Anyone who I may have any contact with knows what I am that way and I dont have to hide it or live in fear of being found out.

I'm not entirely sure but it's probably true to a degree. On my previous profile I would meet couples and play with women and I enjoyed it but now I'm completely all about the guys and the attention fully on me. I can play parallel to other women but I don't necessarily crave to play with them. My profile now says straight. |

Doesn't this just mean that through your transition you are still straight? I know it's more complicated and complex than that |

I think you can be whatever you want to be at that time. All through my teenage years up to my late twenties I was bi, bordering at times as being only interested in woman. Then I went the opposite and was only interested in men. Now I've noticed I've started to be attracted to woman again but men are still my preference |

It's only important if you need the label, or others expect it from you. There are countless people who have found their self perceived sexual interests have changed, both more rigidly or fluidly.
Take it as a reflection of wellwisdom and knowing yourself well. For others it reflects freedom too. |

There and to the left a bit |
I guess a good analogy for it is this - if you are a vegetarian and start eating meat again are you still a vegetarian?
Of course not, same logic applies here surely?
Serious question though Rachael, and apologies if I offend with it - do you think in your instance it's because you always knew you were a woman and that was the driver behind wanting sex with men, when you identified as a man, but were pushed down the having sex with women route by societal "norms" - now you're a woman you can safely follow your natural instincts of wanting men as a straight woman?
Again apologies if my wording makes that sound in any way crass or offensive. |

I think you’ve hit the nail as it were.
I had to put effort into having sex with women. Lots of fantasy stuff to stay aroused.
With men it’s just completely natural and passionate. I just have something in the way at the moment. Not long until I haven’t though |

I really don’t know. I think I’m a group situation, if I was having full sex I might be ok with contact with a woman but, tbh, I’d rather not. |

I've gone exactly like that too so I don't think it's unusual. Have had 3 long term relationships with women but rarely sexually satisfying and even with couples at clubs I have little interest in the woman though I try and make the effort. My preference these days is pretty much exclusively now men or Tgirls. I take on board Gemini's point, which is very perceptive, that a lot of surpression takes place. |

This is how it is for me too. I now class myself as straight but do occasionally have abit of a play with women. |
