I am aware that women and couples get overwhelmed by messages from single males . I fully understand that this is frustrating and the need to filter out the, dick pics, fake and unimaginative chancer messages.
This does mean that some genuine and socially friendly guys get overlooked, ignored or deleted. I have learned to accept this because I understand the reason. Even though it can be disappointing when you try to make an effort, send a face picture and be nice.
I have no answers just sharing some thoughts for discussion with fellow fabbers

hiding from cock pics. |
I personally don't think so, the messages where somebody has read my profile, relates to it and therefore to me and and puts together a polite well written message, even if it is only a line or two definitely will get read and likely replied to.
Those messages stand out from the trash. |

Just have to take it that some people may not simply be into you! It's nothing personal but doesn't matter how well worded and thought out your message could be, they aren't looking for you.
We all have that 'look' we like and can't prejudge others taste.
Don't take it personally and move on.
I usually block those that don't reply to a decent message and face photo. They're not into you so why keep seeing their updates/profile. |

I dont see it as a dilemma. if I like someone, I will message in the only way I know, polite and personal to their profile. If they dont reply, or even read the message, I know it wasn't meant to be - I dont fancy everyone, so not everyone is going to fancy me.
I do always think "their loss" though |

I agree in part and yes most of us have a specific type they are looking for, as you say just don't fancy me. I am fine with that.
What I am wondering is how many messages never get read because there is just not enough hours in the day to go though the 100's of sometimes bland dross that women and couples receive everyday.
A polite "not for me" or "no thanks" is always a bonus when you have tried to put a little bit of effort in. Although I really empathise with those that don't do it for whatever reason.

We agree with the ladies above, will always try and reply to a polite message. Although most of the time it’s with a no Thankyou.
Our inbox does on occasion get a little crazy though so we may miss a few. We try and remember everybody on here is another human, if they’ve taken the time to message we try and return the courtesy with a reply. It can be a little testing when the messages are mostly along the line of : “take me up the ass, I want to cum on your face and does it bareback?” All very interesting openers. |

Some people will be checking profiles in stealth mode and though they may never read your message, they may have looked at your profile and have decided that they are not looking for what you are offering right now. |

We get 2-3 messages a day depending on where I’ve been working and if I’ve logged into Fab somewhere different.
If the message is a proper one and not just a one liner one of us will always reply.
If I guy has taken the time to write a considered and well thought out message the least we can do is respond.

"At least 50% instant delete. And surely a non reply is a no.
But ive tried "stating no thanks n good luck" then we get into a tennis match about it. "
I take your tennis match point. I guess some men don't take rejection well. Which is probably a good enough reason not to engage with them. |
